1. Who We Are

CaralVideo is a video content platform based in Dallas, Texas. We host branded pages for organizations and their advisors (“agents”) at caralvideo.com, where visitors can watch short-form videos and contact an advisor directly. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website and platform.

2. Information We Collect

Inquiries you submit. When you use a contact form, lead-magnet, or other contact widget on an agent or organization page, we collect the information you provide, typically your name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message. This is delivered to the relevant advisor or organization so they can respond.

Account information. Staff, organization admins, and agents sign in through our authentication provider. For those accounts we process a name, email address, and role. Public visitors do not need an account.

Usage analytics. If you accept cookies in our consent banner, we record anonymous, aggregate events such as page views, video plays, and widget clicks, along with a coarse, approximate location (country, region, and city derived from your IP address) used to show advisors near you. We do not build advertising profiles, and analytics do not run at all unless you opt in.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your inquiry to the advisor or organization you contacted, and let them follow up
• To operate, secure, and maintain the platform and user accounts
• To understand, in aggregate, which content and pages are useful, so we can improve them
• To show region-relevant advisors via approximate location

We do not add you to a marketing list or automated email campaign as a result of submitting a contact form.

4. Cookies & Consent

We show a consent banner on public pages. Until you select “Accept,” we do not record analytics events. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so we can honor it on return visits. Essential functionality (such as keeping you signed in) works without analytics consent.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of trusted service providers to operate the platform. Each processes only the data needed for its function:

• Clerk: authentication and account management for signed-in users
• Supabase: database and file storage for platform content and analytics
• Bunny.net: video hosting and delivery
• Vercel: application hosting
• Cloudflare: DNS, security, content delivery, approximate IP geolocation, and privacy-first aggregate visit counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify or track individual visitors)
• Plausible: privacy-first aggregate visit counts on our own marketing pages only (no cookies, no personal identifiers, no tracking of individual visitors)
• Resend: delivery of transactional email, such as lead notifications
• Sentry: error monitoring to keep the service reliable

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking technology.

6. How We Share Information

We share the inquiries you submit with the advisor or organization you contacted. We share data with the service providers listed above strictly to operate the platform. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

7. Data Retention

We retain inquiry submissions and account data for as long as necessary to provide the service and manage client relationships. If you would like your information deleted, contact us and we will remove it promptly, subject to any legal retention obligations.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of analytics at any time by declining cookies in the consent banner

9. Data Security

Our site is served over HTTPS. Access to platform data is restricted by role, and database access is governed by row-level security. We do not collect or store payment card information on this site.

This platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
